Why Men Have No Right to Decide Women’s Rights
Background and Pro-Choice
Tell me the last time a man gave birth to a baby. Tell me the last time a man was raped and impregnated against his will. Tell me the last time a man was shamed for having to make the difficult decision to have an abortion.
The decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was left in the hands of 9 people to decide the fate of women across the United States. Of those 9 people, 3 of them are women. Of the 3 women sitting on the Supreme Court of the United States, 2 voted against overturning Roe v. Wade, which removes the protection for women to safely have an abortion across the United States.
If the decision had been left to the women of SCOTUS, I would not be writing this article.
Instead, 6 men had a say in what a woman can and cannot do with her body.
Now, many women across the country do not have the protection they need to have a safe abortion.
Now, women will have to either travel across state lines to have an abortion if they live in a state where abortion is illegal, or worse, handle it some other way.
